No fuel, no food, no help. The team has begun one of Namibia’s longest and most remote offroad routes.

800 km of 4x4, unsupported, rocky wilderness in the far north. Problem-solving is the name of the game, 1 km at a time, and the team must work together to make it out.

As a father, one of the best emotional and greatest moments is when you Clay explain to your kids how remote is the area and ask them to remember it. Such an amazing jorney with your family. im truly following your steps with my childrens. Cheers from Chile 🇨🇱

So the boy realized walking is faster than being driven 😂😂 that part reminds me of the movie “God must be crazy”.

I really think Africa's been the biggest test to these trucks. And Africa has also given us the best adventure on Expedition Overland
  • @Herman_Stroh
Another top notch episode. Makes me realize how extremely lucky I am to live in the beautifully bold and diverse country of Namibia.
  • Clay playing tik tac toe with the kids was cool. Trading cultures is an amazing

I think it’s so wonderful that you are doing all this as a family; such a good learning experience for the kids. They grow up so fast, and they’ll have these memories forever. Problem solving is a part of life, and the grown-ups on your journeys are such good role models. Bless you all!

Folks, you're sending cold shivers down my spine! Mind you I'm sitting on my coach and following your adventure. But you're in good hands, Adrian is such a coolcat! You've earned it too, salute and all the best in your adventures!!!

Episode reminds us how hard travel in these remote areas can be. I appreciate you showing the struggles and highlights. Many similar shows only show the ups and give people unrealistic expeditions
  • Am so amazed and thrilled to see you guys considering Namibia as part of your experience..I believe that some years to come those boys will love to return here hopefully with their own kids. It's a life long learning experience..Welcome to Namibia and Southern Africa as whole ❤

Thanks for this episode and the Africa season. I commend you for leaving the comfort of the USA and coming to this remote part of the world to see these vast and beautiful natural zones that exist outside the Western paradigm. Thank you for understanding the significance of being on top of Van Zyl’s pass looking over the vast Marienfluss that is so remote and difficult to get to.
  • You guys are the most chilled out family doing this amazing trip. Just awesome watching this . Enjoy.
  • @MonkeyofAwesome
Man, the Taco is really taking a beating between the A/C and the window.
  • This is a beautiful series Of videos, I am loving it. all the from SOUTH AFRICA.
  • Something you guy’s should consider if you do another Africa trip, is get a local specialist to buy and build expedition vehicles for you in SA, and you could sell them after your trip. It might actually work out cheaper, and there are some really good people who know how to build vehicles for Africa overlanding. Stood for thought.

Special to see how you explained to your boys what it is all about being remote and totally reliant on on what you have with you. Very few get to experience that. Very few.
  • This series is giving me chills of inspiration and thrill…..thank you for sharing!
