This tiny house had no working utilities, mold, lots of rot, leaky windows, a failing roof, unkept yard, washed out driveway and more. We are going to renovate the cabin and turn it into a real home!

Ally..just a heads up. i see others have commented too. Ive lived in 3 homes with mold now, my advice would be to replace the walls, painting over them unfortunately will activate the mold spores & not solve the problem. The sickness thats come from Mold is life threatening. The spores get into the lungs & brain. I had loss of memory, lethargy, constant allergies, wheezing, muscle pain & so on. Its not worth your health. Please take care x

if you’re dealing with mold, please wear the right PPE. Mold sickness is no joke and it seriously is so bad for you and takes forever to detox from 😬😩 This is also coming from someone currently dealing with mold sickness and trying to detox from it

My heart dropped when you mentioned mold, as someone who has and is dealing with mold illness with their entire family. Look up mycotoxins, way more harmful and harder to remove than the actual visual mold you can see. We have to basically get rid of everything we own, move and detox , we are very sick.
  • I love how you are not afraid to jump right into any project. You are so willing to learn driving the equipment and use any tool. Really glad you are doing more videos.
  • Being 54 myself, I remember how popular A frames were. Oh to be your age again! It doesn't seem like I'm 54 until I start to move or try to remember something LOL! I had that fire and desire to buy a house and make it mine. That dream came to fruition in 2010 when I got my first house at 40! And then my health tanked. I'm finally, albite slowly, on the mend-ish, some of my issues on have one cure and that is what'll happen in about 50 years haha ahhh well, I can live vicariously through you. Enjoy all that you have, life is good. Thank you for sharing with us.
  • Ally please keep making videos! They are calming, yet highly inspiring and motivating. You have a clear strong narrative voice-and your aesthetic choices and editing is top notch!
  • Love your videos Ally and seeing your newest adventures & progress! I just wanted to add- please please please be careful doing DIY work with mold. If there’s water damage & signs of mold on the wall, chances are there’s mold inside certain parts of the walls & under floors / base boards. It can get you extremely sick over time. Please be safe!❤️🫶🏻

Drywall removal tip! Use one of those small powerful earth magnets and rub it over the sheetrock to find the screws, you can use a stud finder first. Once you find one, use a screw driver to dig out the mud, and then just unscrew with your drill attachment. Once you get going, it goes super fast, just make your way down each stud, and then measure over 16" to the next one. Then you can pull down whole sheets at a time. It's WAY cleaner and less dusty, and pretty darn fast!

I never wanted this video to end! I love watching the renovation process!
  • I had nearly forgotten how far you guys have come with the A frame! You've done such incredible work to get it to where it is now, you guys never cease to amaze and impress!! We are currently in a small condo and are looking forward to investing in a property in NH to do exactly this. Following your journey has kept the fire in my soul going for hopes to one day be living out this dream. Much love 🤍
  • I always use ceramic and wood utensils when making sourdough that’s what I learned from the Alaskan cookbook ❤️Some how metal utensils stops the rising and fermentation.

Enjoyed seeing the renovations and your future plans for your home. Lots of hard work and time but will be rewarding. Projects ALWAYS require more time than we think and also some unexpected set backs. Good job guys!!
