I love how a lot of celebrity chefs love to cultivate a badass onscreen personality yelling, throwing dishes in the air or whatever and Matty is an actual badass and just shows himself as a cool fun guy.

Matty is awesome, I love the way he talks about overcoming substance abuse in a casual and relatable way. It’s really alienating to never hear about other people’s experiences when you both have the same struggle - you feel alone while you figure it out alone instead. Plus he’s funny as hell lmao.
