If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated Me before it hated you. -John 15: 18

I really love that line "i think it is true it was people like you that cruicified christ. I think it is sad the opinion you had was the only voiced." Which really speaks to dogma on people who think they're christian but are voicing the anger of people who would've been angry at christ and crucified him because they followed the only opinion voiced.

The thing about this song is you don't even have to be Christian to love it. It's just a genuine great song, with great lyrics. "Is your mind so small that you have to fall in with the pack wherever they run?"
  • This is what metal music should be about, the Savior. The Christ suffer Pain, misery, poverty and humiliation in order to save us. How many of you today are not suffering those condition ? Please Be part of the Christ and make this world a better place

Imagine going to church and they start playing this song

The bittersweet thing about Master of Reality is that the famous songs are so good that it overshadows the relatively unknown ones like After Forever and Lord of this World. But from start to finish this album is, in my opinion, Black Sabbath's most consistent, most listenable record. This album is their magnum opus!

Geezer Butler wrote these lyrics - says it all for me - work on becoming "aware" of your God, not what someone tells you what God is, your God. You do not want to be squirming on your deathbed wondering what's next for you. I was a Medic and saw lots of people die before my eyes, and it was unsettling to see people die in pure fear because they had not made peace with their maker. On the other hand, people who I saw pass who knew their God passed peacefully, a far nicer experience for all. Thank-you.
  • THE one foot rythm at his best...incredible!!!πŸ‘ŠπŸ» M.Bill Ward= πŸ™ŒπŸ» Truly THE jazzy heart beat of Sabbath!!!
  • One of the greatest. Ozzy sounds so good on this. Ozzy was the cooliest looking rock star in the 70,s.
