And if I hear one more person say “none of this was real”…or that “people were not THAT sick”…I’m gonna snap. I work in an ICU in Ohio, on the front line and saw our nurses work their butts off to keep people alive…no extra pay, no recognition…just doing their job. I was proud to be a part of their team. Great story. She deserved this and a thousand times more.

As the father of two RN's, this video makes my heart swell with love and pride. I really love seeing videos like these because a lot of the time, the nurses go unnoticed but the doctors wouldn't be able to do what they do without my daughters and millions of other nurses. Nurses ARE the real heroes. I'm the husband of one, the son of one, the brother of one, the father of a CNA. So I know that nurses like Christie are called, and they answer that call.
