As I fall asleep I feel like crying. I have so much to be grateful, yet moments of happiness are hard to find anymore; and finding happiness about my own self is even harder. The kids have grown and moved on, and the grandkids are half the continent away. I live in a seniors building and everyone just talks about ailments, medications, growing old and dying; and there’s always someone dying. I do my best to walk the ‘straight and narrow’. I’m unfulfilled.
