IT'S FINALLY DONE!
Last Life is an SMP series where all members spawn with a set amount of lives between 2-6. If someone gets down to one life left, they turn red, and they become hostile to other players. There is also a boogeyman chosen every session that has to make a kill on a green or yellow person or else they will start the next session on their red life.
I tried my best to make sure everyone had their moment to shine, but understand that I couldn't include every moment. I included my personal favorite parts of the series and the ones that felt the most iconic.
Also, a disclaimer, there are most definitely mistakes in this video. Life amounts being wrong, characters in the wrong scenes, character designs being wrong, etc. I did the best I could for the size of the project this was. Also, for most of the cast, this was my first time drawing them, and I'm not as familiar with some of the people included. So apologies if any of the designs feel wrong.
That being said, please understand that I am not open to unsolicited criticism or correction.

Scar's design is so cool, and the way he uses magic instead of a normal bucket really adds to how good this animation is!

this just proves that the Last Life series and/or Hermitcraft could be adapted into an animated series and i would watch the HELL out of 'em. they're both more dramatic and emotional and wholesome than most shows out there

Things I love -i love how the Boogie man has red tints in their eyes -i love how you showed the BEST Shields when the song went BEST FACE ON - I love how it flows from animatic to animation -I love how the bang is used to display murder and moments of chaos - I love how it made me fall in love with this song - I love how things are edited to fit people's character -i love how you show emotion in every frame (: Edit with more -I love how when the song talks about liking the show it shows Cleo showing of the burning fairy circle

this single animation was what introduced me to what is now my favourite band, who i love so much i have recently seen them live in concert. Thank you so much for this animation - I honestly don’t know where i’d be without AJR.

Ten months late to the party but I’m just going to say: Wow. Just wow. Composition, flow, animation, song choice, beat, scenes depicted… There’s a reason I watch this nearly daily, it’s just so beautiful and amazing!

Trying to comment on things sometimes instead of only watching them over and over, so here’s a list of all my favorite bits: - the opening notes, with each little group (especially BEST being in order) - Grian’s grumpy little face getting put back to yellow after Bdubz killed him - BEST being wholesome tbh - the fact you draw Lizzie with fairy wings bc of the Fairy Fort - Cleo’s little laugh and smile I adore it - Cleo and Etho getting bubbled up out of the ground for their attack - slowing the animation down to focus on the four remaining players before the final showdown

When this animation came out, 2 years ago, i didnt have any idea who grian was, hermitcraft, nothing, and i watched this animation and i was like "woah!!" And i wanted to see whatever it was, when i found out that it was Minecraft i was so happy because i was in the dsmp back then and i loved minecraft, now, after watching all of the series and every grian video, hermitcraft is my hyperfixation and so is grian, so thank you, youre the reason im into hermitcraft and the life series.

My favorite part is when Scar looks up with red eyes just as the song says "here we go", almost like it's calling back to all the destruction caused by Scar being the first red name the previous season. It's so good.

I really love how this accurately explains last life in such a short time. The part where Mumbo got engulfed in flames by scars lava had to be one of my favorite parts

I don't know if you're still reading comments but I just have to say that it's been months since I last watched any life series/hermitcraft content and yet I keep coming back to this animation! You are singlehandedly why last life is my favorite life series. The storytelling in your animation was what made me check out more povs and end up loving team best. Really impressive work!

I can’t even explain how much I love this animatic. After watching this I immediately ran to watch Last Life so that i could understand what’s going on and let me just say that this video just got ten times better! I wish there was more I could do than just give it a thumbs up but that’s all YouTube has. I can’t stop smiling when I watch this! The story telling, the creativity, and your art are all aspects of what makes this video so spectacular, AMAZING JOB!!!!
