Enjoy the break, Chris. Fingers crossed for a long period without unfortunate injuries 🤞👍🏻
  • Thank you for the update, Chris! Very nice to hear you are enjoying your new job!

Enjoy a good break from YouTube. Take your time with your recovery. Persistent injuries suggest that you may have been pushing too hard. I ran a10k race around the Essex countryside in the same murderous heat and was happy with one hour 😊. You always set yourself such high goals. Hope to see you back here, happy and healthy, sooner rather than later. No pressure. Meanwhile take care of yourself, your family and that worthwhile job. All the best 👍

I totally understand, Chris, I have also been so busy with work that it's a few months since my last video got edited and uploaded. I've got a few in the can, I'll get to them when I get the chance. Look after yourself :)

Hi Chris, enjoy a well deserved break 👍 I still go back through your old videos for tips for sessions etc. All the best !

Good to meet you on the LA start line. My brother ran well but I struggled a little. Hamstring hurt the next day. So I do feel your pain.

As a fellow middle aged runner, I can relate to this. Stuff can happen to our bodies we can’t fully control.

No down sides to listening to your body and taking it easy. Rest up! I’d also love to get some tips and tricks from you as I start my own channel on YouTube. I love what you do! Keep it going, man!

Totally understand! Take a break— YouTube isn’t going anywhere! 🤓

Hi Chris, Good thinking mate. You're right to take a break. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Glad everything is working out at the school. You are the right man for that job. See you in the next one...Cheers! Phil

Chris thanks for your update, I'm up for a run if you fancy a chat anytime👍
  • Hey Chris - sorry to hear about the injuries, hope you can get back to enjoying running sooner rather than later. I'm taking my first tentative steps back into that world after more than a year of achilles tendon issues 😊 All the best 👍

Hope you rediscover the balance you are looking for and get back to running for enjoyment without the pressure of times and distance. Life’s too short and good luck with the injuries 👍🏻

Great video, I took my Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro for a long run yesterday. This and Adidas Pro 3 make me fly. I am 60 and slow runner but your review of the Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro made me want to get them.. 👍🏻
  • @Stevenc1984
Hope you're able to get back to running consistently without the injuries 👍🏻

As someone who has started to experience age related running injuries (back!) I've been frustrated but found strength work and yoga to be crucial. Think you need to be easier on yourself. And don't mean to be rude, but I think your 10k, as least partly, went down the pan because you went out way too fast. 1st mile was something like 2secs per mile slower than your 5k pace, and on a very hot day. I think social media runners make us think results come easy, but it's all smoke and mirrors. Nowt comes quick and easy in running

Sound like you need a course of deep tissue sports massage.
