"Aurora, we cant send a rescue ship all the way over there so you'll have to meet us halfway" "Say no more"
  • “Let’s just go to the next floor” Instantly teleports 500m up
  • Subnautica is like Minecraft. No matter how far you fall, if there's water underneath you, you take no fall damage. The only difference is there is a lot more water in Subnautica :D

Fun fact: if you manage to go 8,192 meters upward, you get teleported to sea level, and we know this because someone made a base all the way up there.

Subnautica somehow manages to give me not only a fear of the ocean but also a fear of heights.

I'm just imagining if physics actually applied how painful that would have been falling that high.

I love how 12m of water completely stopped your body while falling probably above terminal speed considering Riley's pose
  • Alterra’s gonna return to this planet with a fully functioning space elevator built by one guy while he was stranded on this planet
  • @MsPoopdragon
Devs: "So you need to build the Saturn rocket to leave the planet" Whalelol: "The hell I do!!"
  • @Heisenblud
Imagine how Riley is tired of climbing these stairs.
  • Very cool! Now make the deepest base possible down in the dead zone
  • @Moneyman187M
Neptune rocket be damned, my boy built a whole space elevator.
  • @HORRIOR1
Build height limit? Subnautica: We don't do that here.
  • @nazemec
    - Dad, we need a spaceship to leave this planet but it's too hard to build! - Don't worry son, I'll get my ladder!

The way you handled everything in terms of what I wanted to see from this video was impressive. Very satisfying to have all my questions and cravings answered
