Dame Maggie in interviews always comes across as somebody who really doesn’t know why she’s there being interviewed or why people are interested in hearing her talk and it’s so sweet. We know she is a true star, the Grand Dame of film, television and theatre but it’s her humbleness that makes her so endearing

if people didnt know Maggie Smith before downton abbey people have lived under rocks for more than 40 years.. :/ i mean shes Hook , Harry Potter , Lily In Love , Secret Garden and maaaany many more ! she is a freaking living legend! ! (sorry for bad english)
