Restaurants closed in Hong Kong after receiving michelin star. Land lords immediately raise rent and restaurants couldn't cope.

This video literally so vague and doesn't shed a light to what goes beyond the cert
  • @jatindsaini
Reporter with looong unsecured hair in restaurant kitchen is horrifying
  • @inamazam
would have been nice if you had at least a former michellin star inspector or food critic who could shed lite on the process that goes into evaluating a restaurant.

There’s literally a chef that’s suing them for giving him a star lmao

"French Chef Committed suicide because he thought he was going to lose his third star" CUT TO Reporter smiling

What I found most interesting about this video is that the Michelin Tire Man is French. I think that is so adorable.

Puts on apron, leaves hair down. ಠ_ಠ

Still cant believe a tire company runs all this
  • @dragonfly12
So you’re telling me the people that make tires are directly in charge of handling restaurant quality lmao😅
  • Honestly I've eaten at many Michelin stars over the years (as you'll see by my channel) and I can definitely say some of the 'world number 1' restaurants have been a total sham. Often food bloggers have a vested interests in certain restaurants and I've had at least three 2 or 3 Michelins that have been SO different compared to other 2 or 3 Michelins in another country... this includes everything from quality of food to service, ambiance and price. I can immediately understand the vibe of the place, how happy staff are to work there, how they react to my filming there... the really top restaurants will welcome you with open arms, the nervous ones will not.

Hawker Chan laughs at these restaurants that dedicate so much to pursuing those stars.

The Star is for an ensemble of feast in a restaurant. You have the food of course, but also the ambience and everything that surrounds it. So if the chef leaves, the Star stays behind. Up to the new chef to keep it in the house.

The fact we need a tyre company to rank a restaurant is hilarious
  • @pariwesh
Most people don't really care if a restaurant has a Michelin star or not. What attracts them is the good food and good customer service.

My opinion. Not worth it. It became a burden for the restaurant owner
