Im a simple man i see a giant creature i click
  • I see two possibilities for the meaning of this short film: It's the presence of humanity that brings life to a land. We see a tribe of humanoids caring for each other, a father defending his family, a mother protecting her child, and an elder caring for the land they last inhabited. When their last land is exhausted (literally), they move to the next, and it's their presence in the new land that breathes life into it. Or... it's a story about rad rock people living on rad rock monsters.

This world looks like how my mouth feels after having it open for the entire night
  • Everyone's talking about how great the animation is, and I will admit, it's fantastic, but I fell in love with the concept. The idea of massive monsters that you must travel on is really cool.
  • @00nyoom
It's confirmed, earth is not round, nor is it flat, it is a DEHYDRATED BOI
  • @Identitymediatv
The smooth flow of motion and expression of the characters is just amazing, if you know how difficult it is to produce a clean animation you'll understand and appreciate the effort in this....Viewers easily criticise animators yet these artists are the most patient enduring individuals in the field of creativity....

Can we just get a moment of silence for the dude that got steamrolled by a rock at 02:41.... RIP
  • @rosienewman674
who just clicked the video coz they saw a giant turtle rock monster?
  • Uneducated theory: It is a very low gravity, high magnetic planet with silicon based lifeforms. The mobile mountain-like creatures migrate for sustenance and grow to immense size due to the low gravity and plentiful resources while smaller humanoid silicon life lives on it's back like symbiotic parasites. It appears the first one died due to an infection of termite-like creatures. The high magnetic pull of the planet would act like gravity with metallic particles that make up the silicon life giving the illusion of moderate gravity hence why they didn't float around or jump very high. Evolutionarily there would be no reason for them to evolve into a humanoid form but I'm sure it was like that for our entertainment purposes, but it makes sense that they would have no facial orifices as silicon life would absorb nutrients much differently. Or im just really high... (edit, 1 year later) Wow, I really must have been high af. I dont remember any of this non-sense or what the fuck point I was trying to make. But I do remember being high and finding it really fun to space out and think about random shit like this. Also kinda cool to see the mix bag of responses I got, from serious dbag haters to pretty cool folks. If my comment ruffled your jimmies that's on you. Stay peaceful my peeps

5:10 Most amazing image in this entire production. Completely fascinating.
  • @teku6678
Holy shit! The thumbnail wasn't lying!
  • This is incredible! And reminds me of going to the movies. I miss going to the movies anyone else?
  • Be honest, the only reason why you clicked on this video was because you saw a giant cool looking creature on the thumbnail (or is it just me)
  • @TheBargles
2:33 anyone else notice the dude fall and break his spine in the background?
  • @darthfenrir7773
The sound effects and animation were spot on and the story was engaging, but my favorite part was the creature. It felt genuinely ancient and alien and had a sense of elegance despite its size. This was amazing all around.
  • @datastorm75
Your ride breaks down in the most inhospitable hell-hole a million miles from nowhere. Isn't that always the way?
  • when i saw them climbing the mountain I was like: that's probably a big rock turtle boi and I was not wrong
