Simple V60 Pour Over Recipe Anyone Can Do

The V60 is named after its distinctive design. It consists of a conical dripper, typically made of ceramic or glass, with a large opening at the top and a small opening at the bottom. The shape of the dripper and the single large hole at the bottom are designed to promote an even extraction of coffee grounds.
To brew coffee with a Hario V60, you'll need a V60 dripper, paper filters specifically designed for the V60, coffee grounds, a kettle for hot water, and a carafe or mug to collect the brewed coffee. Another key piece of equipment we like to use to measure and track a recipe is a set of good quality scales.

Thanks for another amazing video ā¤

Thanks for the information. Great update on v60

I've tried many different drippers but still like plastic V60 the best. It's durable and has the lowest thermal mass, so all the heat is absorbed by the coffee and not by the dripper.

I wish I would have known before getting into filter coffee that I will end up drinking only portions of rather 200ml than 250ml and more. Unfortunately, then I got the ceramic V60 for two portions. Now I mostly use this with the april brew recipes of dividing up 200g in 4 equal pours every 30 seconds and I use pretty hot water (95 degrees). But I still might get a plastic V60 single portion to try out other recipes where more water is filled into the cone at once.

You need to get Katrina back for an update, to see how she's doing with her latte art, and teach her something new.
