In this video, I do an in depth cost analysis down to the dollar, of how much it cost me to buy a boat (Twin Diesel Trawler), with no prior experience, and to run this boat down the East Coast USA from Portland Maine, to Miami, Florida! If you are new to the channel, check out my boat trip series, of the entire trip down the coast!

I am a 73 year old retiree that has enjoyed your experience with pride and envy. There are people who plan for this their entire life to go through the ICW. You are showing it can be done safely and have a great time doing it. My hats off to you and your partner. Keep posting!

I loved watching this whole trip. You and Adam will never forget it. I felt sad watching him leave. Here is what I liked so much: 1. Your positive attitude. No complaining and whining and being dramatic. Just two real guys having fun. It was funny when you were in the Chesapeake bay you said something like " it sucks here" But you quickly caught yourself being negative and said " just kidding , its nice" LOL 2. At the end of the day you would show on a map how you went. 3. The drone footage was a nice touch and added to your production. 4. You talked like a normal person, not a put on phoney personality 5. Even though your a sailor, you didnt talk like one. Meaning you didnt curse the whole time. I appreciate that . I could watch this with my family. Thanks for being transparent with the costs , it answered a lot of my questions And BTW it was very obvious to me from the beginning that you are a hard worker and not getting handouts. Great Job!!

I love how detailed you are and how responsible you seem when doing this journey. Very impressed. Good job dude.
  • I really liked the video I'm impressed that a 23 year old young man has his head on straight like you do. I'm 61 years old and finally sold our last boat it was a 36 ft trawler with twin Perkins diesels. They are very good on fuel and very sea worthy vessels. Before that one we had a 31 ft uniflite with twin Chrysler 318 small blocks gas engines that really sucked up the fuel I was glad to get diesels The fuel economy is way better and the engines last much much longer. Good job I'm impressed with this video.
  • Well done young man! I'm so proud of you and your accomplishments! I'm glad that you decided to share the cost with your viewers!

Loved your entire video series, both entertaining and informative. Some great photography too. You two should be very proud of yourselves, quite an accomplishment for two young guys. Thank you so much for sharing your adventure.

Outstanding. As a guy who’s first job out of college was working at a marina on winnipsaukee, and still boating around mass, with the hope of doing what you’re doing, I really appreciate this summary. You’re killing it. Greta job.

You've done an excellent job documenting your travels the ICW on a trawler. We've enjoyed the whole series & appreciate the trouble you went through with taking the time to record & edit it. We have an Albin 40 trawler that is currently south of St Augustine but we'll be starting our trip back north April 8th where we mostly anchor out like you guys did. I hope to see you on the water & we'll be keeping an eye out for you! PS I hope you caught that rat thats on your boat @ 4:20! 😃
  • Great job helps with a mechanical background and balls of steel, liked the video. As of being a retired mechanic and boat guy thank you parents for raising a good man.be safe and wind at your back.Big Lou

I've never even clicked a boat anything anywhere, so I don't know why this was suggested. But I'm glad it was. EXCELLENT vlog in every way, shape and form!! I'm sure you're going to have a GREAT life! Again, EXCELLENT!!
