    He’s one of the few musicians who actually sound the same live as he does on the radio.
  • Fun fact: they arrived late to the venue so they had to use the equipment of other band, so you can see Dave being gentle to a smaller drumkit and Kurt playing Teen Spirit through a fucking Marshall Plexi. He hated that brand but I have to say the guitar sounds badass

    There just HAS TO BE a pro recording of this. Cameramen running around with yuge cameras and the band was the rising star of the time. No way they just deleted it

    I just feel like kurt was the pure embodiment of grunge here. His performance is so pure. Even the overexposure on the puckup seems to perfectly accent the music. So awesome i cant believe i never saw this recording.

    Wish there was an HD DVD of this, such there´s is of Reading... this show rocks. I haven't seen other Nirvana show where Kurt is having this fun.

    You can really hear the Pixies influence in this performance, more so than on the album and in subsequent performances after the song got huge

    well this was the week Nevermind was released and everyone was still applying for succes. That they really got so succesfull within two months from there didnt really changed much about the band, but more the environment. Thats what they had to cope with.
