Follow along as wildlife filmmaker Adrian Cale takes his talents to England, where he finds that behind an unsuspecting Farm Shop lies the Cat Survival Trust, full of over 240 cats such as Snow Leopards, Lynx, Jaguars, and more. Dr. Terry, who owns the Cat Survival Trust, has been running this private charity since 1976, so that wild cats that could no longer be looked after by zoos or private owners still received the care they needed. Dr. Terry and his staff work hard to ensure not only the safety of these animals, but they also make sure they are safe from extinction, releasing them into the wild when possible.

  • 2:14 This is absolutely 100% true. ..and it's the main thing that non cat lovers don't understand about cats. If they do understand it, they aren't willing to put in the months/years of work to achieve that bond. The two biggest things with cats are trust and understanding. If a cat can trust you and you can demonstrate an ability to understand/communicate with them, they're as loyal and affectionate as dogs. My cat, Mochi can ask me a few types of basic yes/no questions and understand my answers. She comes to me when I call her. She hasn't scratched or bitten me since she was a kitten. She's also very empathetic. If I'm having a rough day or suffering from a migraine, she'll come and sit with me until she's satisfied that I'm ok. The first several times she saw me laughing really hard, she thought I was crying - and she was SO concerned! Lol ..and she's extremely affectionate. I've had similarly close relationships with every cat in my life. It blows my mind that "scientific studies" still come out and claim that "cats are sociopaths, incapable of love, and only use us for food". Did you actually use live cats in your "study" or was it a computer simulation type of study? Lmao Even lions are extremely loving and sweet animals when they trust and respect you.
  • All the big cats are gorgeous. I noticed that many of them are struggling to survive. It would be our loss, to see them disappear. I wish you blessings in your endeavors in the breeding program.
  • @gagaliar
I noticed they were never outdoors in an open area where they can run and exercise. What makes this place so good.
  • So sorry for your loss And gret work you are doing a hero in saving big wild cats lives
  • Snow leopards are my absolute favorite big cat. So very sad that they lost the mama and babies. Not going to lie, I cried. I am glad they are going to be adding to the wild population of snow leopards. It would be heartbreaking if they went extinct
  • 🐆🥰🐆🥰🐆🥰🐆 OMGOSH ❣️ Crunchy is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING 💕😻💕 Good grief... Her eyes are just MESMERIZING ❣️ While I ADORE this man for everything he is trying to do for these PRECIOUS animals... I WISH SO BADLY they had a MUCH LARGER living space!! Breaks my heart they do not have the space to run and play and roam around! 😔😔😔😔 Now I'm sitting here crying so bad... I cannot imagine how Dr. Terry feels, over the loss of his best friend and her babies... To Dr. Terry... My sincerest condolences to you and all of your employees! I am so sorry. 😭💔😭💔😭💔😭
  • :''':''''( Made me cry, please make more video's to keep the world aware to the problems (EXTINCTION) of these magnificent CATS.
  • @J0LTZEZ
snow leopards are my favorite animal <3
  • I always thought the wise thing to do would be to introduce Snow Leopards to New Zealand to deal with Himalayan Tahr, Chamois, Feral Goat, Deer and Wallaby overgrazing on South Isaac Island. They might kill a very few sheep but if they prey on feral dogs it would be far less sheep being killed by predators overall. The ecology would have the ability to balance itself. It would also be a safeguard against extinction.
  • @WSNO
i cried when the cub was stillborn. if you are like me, you're going to want to skip that part because believe me, you don't want to hear the graphic detail of what else went wrong.. it only gets worse. rest in peace Irbis and her three cubs, never able to feel the sun or the grass on their paws. to the filmmakers, i sincerely wish you made note of upcoming tragedy at the beginning of the video so i was not caught by surprise. i hope this comment at least will ensure that not everyone will be caught like i was. At least put a note in the description, please. I was hoping for some sneps to brighten up a real downer of a life day. so much for that. The folks at the Sanctuary are doing an amazing job helping the snow leopards, i clicked this video excited to hear more from them and about their projects. someday i hope to visit the cats and get to meet them, perhaps even brushie them and give them some chicken. this video changes none of that, and my heart goes out to Terry, all the members of the sanctuary, as well as the remaining sneps. i pray that future births will come with much happier news. timestamps. skip 24:55 to 29:16. this goes from the heartwarming care Terry gives her in her hours of labor to his words of her and how much she meant to him.
  • I love all cats, but the snow lepard and Bengals are my favorite by far
  • @GODSpet
MOTHER GAIA BLESS THE CREATURES and Dr TERRY FOREVER MORE AMEN.
  • *it's a shame to force these beautiful animals to live their entire lives in small cages = shame on this man!!!*
  • I’m not convinced . These snow leopards are in a confined space with nowhere to roam no enrichment . I understand the conservation goal , but this is not the right way or habitat for them .
  • I’m hoping from the birth fatality of the Cubs and Mother that this guy here learns from it in terms of getting a vet on hand who can do an ultrasound a week prior to the cats do date for delivery. Then he would know if the Cubs are dead where if so the vet can do the required surgery to save the life of the female cat.
