The way he says "Darlin'" just makes one melt. There will never be another character like JR.

No matter how old he could get, JR Ewing is still the baddest viper in the pit. Thank you, Larry Hagman, for all your work making this character the most hated man on TV. :) Rest in Peace.
  • This last scene makes me cry because Larry Hagman and Linda Gray were such great friends in real life. He did a lot for her during the first run of the show, when production wanted to write off Sue Ellen’s character. There was so much genuine love and respect between these two friends. Rest In Peace Larry Hagman🙏🤍🕊

Nobody could have pulled of JR Ewing except Larry Hagman

You can feel the warmth between Larry and Linda in this scene, such great friends. Also, JR calls on his inner Vito Corleone and makes that district attorney "an offer he can't refuse"

Larry Hagman was an absolute legend. Those two are one of the most iconic duos in TV history. I wish the Dallas reboot had lasted longer:

There will never be another person like J.R. Ewing.
  • Larry Hagman and Linda Grey, one of the best duos of TV ever, you could tell they cared about each other even when they were bickering, sadly we will never witness this again, the Golden Age of TV, gone but not forgotten by those of us who witnessed it.
  • EVERYONE has a “skeleton” in their closet. And rest assured JR will not only find it, but exploit it to his advantage!

These two “characters” were played by the two actor & actress who made them come to life. Thank-you Linda Grey for loving & knowing exactly how to play “Sue Ellen”. Larry Hagman R.I.P. . Thank-you for playing “JR” the only way he could be played. Both of you had a chemistry that gave us “these two”! No one could have done a better job. To me Sue Ellen & JR are right up there with Scarlett & Rhett Butler. Dallas & Dallas on TNT gave me some of the best TV viewing. Thank-you!!!
  • Reminds me of what Jock once said "Power Isn't Something You Earn, It's Something You Take".. I have the utmost respect for the whole Ewing clan..🤠👍

Watching JR be a prick once again made me smile. The greatest character ever, played by the most perfect man who could ever do. Thank You Larry Hagman. May you rest in peace.
  • JR is the only one with the right to mess with Sue Ellen.
If anyone from the outside even tries
    -he'll destroy you.
