I have taken the liberty to edit some of the rough language from this documentary. I still recommend that it be considered PG-13 due to subject matter and what is left of mature language. I just wanted to upload a more censored version since it is a great documentary, with the exception of the Elvis impersonator performing An American Trilogy at the end. Otherwise it is an awesome documentary.

  • I took my mom to see Elvis on her 40th birthday at the Long Beach Arena in California. She was 1 month older than Elvis and was so excited. The concert was fantastic. My mom was like a little screaming girl. She grew up with him. May they both RIP.

Elvis Presley was a beautiful soul and he is missed. No one could ever replace him.
  • I was 19 when he died. Sitting out on the front lawn with my niece, and mom yelled out to us that Elvis died. Everything got so quiet. Just 10 years older than Lisa Marie. Looked at my mom in a whole different way. They played his music continually for 48 hours. In memory of him. We listen for those 2 days. Thank you for this video and thank you guys for letting us hear your life with him. Wonderful man. RIP Elvis with your grandson and daughter 💔💔💔. God blessed us with you. Thankful for the memories. Singing with the Angels. 👼🏼👼🏼👼🏼. 🙏🙏🙏❣️❣️❣️❤️❤️❤️

Elvis was the most charitable entertainer that ever lived.

I'm from California and flew with my dad to visit Graceland in 1996. My dad looked like the late Elvis with the slick back hair, a little on the heavy side and had the long side burns. At the gift shop I bought him 2 pairs of the Elvis lookalike sunglasses. When we left the tour and drove back to the hotel, at least 3 different people did double takes looking at my dad as he wore the sunglasses while in the passenger seat of our car. He got a kick out of it and made his day. Good times. Rest in peace Pop.
  • True story: Elvis once was riding in a Limo and he asked the driver, do you like being a Limo driver and the driver said yes I do, I’m trying to get my own Limo to start my own business. Elvis bought him a brand new Limo the next day.

Fame and Fortune is both a blessing and a curse. Rest in peace, Elvis 🎸
  • There will never be another Elvis or Michael Jackson, both are irreplaceable.

The way his hairdresser talks about his passing you can tell he really honestly and truthfully loved Elvis.

Just watched this and needless to say it broke my heart all over again. Rest in Peace Elvis, you are free ♥️🙏
  • If Austin wins the Oscar he deserves it...he inbodied Elvis and truly became him.
  • There's no one like Elvis! And there will never be another like Elvis Presley it's so sad that they're all gone! All the legends are gone!
  • He had so many people on payroll, taking a long break would affect these people's families and livelihood. Being the kind person he was, I'm sure that was another reason he didn't take a break or slow down. He felt a sense of responsibility to so many people, including the Colonel. Part of his demise was his unwillingness to put himself first and his own needs which at the same time shows how much he loved and cared for the people around him. He was a gift to us and a national treasure.

My mom had Elvis grab her elbow because she lost her balance she didn't know he was right behind her walking to the stage. She said she just about passed out. He asked her if she was ok she was like I'm better than ok lol. I heard that story so many times she loved Elvis. I remember her crying when he died. May they both rest in peace. ❤ 🙏

I saw Lisa Marie at Elvis’ 88th birthday celebration at Graceland. Just 4 days later and she’s with her dad, son, and ex-husband in heaven. The Presley hearts- full of love but much too weak to endure.

I lived in Lsvl, and went to his last 3 concerts in Lsvl, KY in 1973, 75, and 77. I still have the pant suit I bought and wore in 73 along with one of his scarves in a garment bag hanging in my closet. Next year in 2023 it will be 50 years old. I wore it only that one time. Today is 11/09/22. I am 74. I miss Elvis so much. The King.

Between Austin’s performance & Lisa Marie’s sad death so soon after I can’t see the Oscar’s going any other way than to honor both by giving the Oscar to their movie.
