I can see the effect of her beautiful childhood in her eyes and on her face. She carries it with her.

My god, I love this woman! She's such a beautiful, strong woman!! The things she endured during her young life makes her my super heroine!! I don't know her, but I love her.

What a beautiful lady so kind I wish her the very best God bless her ❤
  • What an amazing life story; so inspirational. Stores like these should be shown in schools to continue to educate young people, who tend to know so little about history. We must do whatever we can so that we can prevent this from happening again.

I’ve watched many of these stories from this channel. One thing in common with many of these survivors is their will to survive. Many people didn’t have the will- which is honestly understandable. Yet so many of these people had a fire inside of them and showed more bravery and grit then we will ever comprehend.

This was wonderful if a story of the Shoah can be called that. Filled with sadness YET I love the way her husband sums it up in the end ... "HER LIFE IS THE VICTORY OVER THE EVIL" Tha nk you so much ! Both the Fintels and Steven Spielberg for this amazing project , your recollections and testimony !

What an unbelievable testimony. Just know God had to be with her when as a child she lived through such horrific circumstances. Thank you for telling your life story.

I rewatched this one today and have to add to my observation from the last time, that the INTERVIEWER was marvellous! She never interrupted but very gently from time to time did step in to help refocus Mrs. Fintel as understandably so MANY things bubbled to the surface. One of the better interviewers in my opinion. Hope she was used in some of the other interviews as well. Absolutely a pleasure to have her input on this gravely important project !

The interviewers skills in dealing with the survivors level of emotion, leaves me cold. it never changes does it. God leaves one, to ensure the story is told.

This is an amazing testimony. It moved me profoundly. It should be made into a movie to educate young people, ypung girls. The strength Slava found even if only 10 or 12 years old. Is it possible tp please let us know what happened to Stella and the brothers after the war?
