saddleback.com/ — Everybody needs recovery. We are all broken people in need of help — emotional, physical, or mental. God’s plan for his people is recovery. Through Celebrate Recovery, God has spread his message of hope and recovery all over the world. He doesn’t want you to miss out on what he has planned for your life. In this message at Saddleback Church, Pastor Rick Warren celebrates the 25th anniversary of Celebrate Recovery with a message called Don’t Throw Away Your Birthright. You’ll learn how God uses recovery to restore us and the eight crucial aspects of recovery.

I thought I was Christian. Listening to this wonderful makes me realize how little I know, but I'm learning SO much ! So, so, much ❤
  • I love how he said "everybody needs recovery from something." Please pray for me; I need guidance when it comes to dating. I was once married and now I trust very few or in some cases I tend to trust the wrong people. Please pray that good gives me wisdom on choosing the right person. Please pray that God removes that wrong people from my life.

This has got to be one of the most eye opening, accurate, easy to understand, trustworthy, & well delivered sermons I’ve ever heard. It covers so many things that I’m sure resonated with everybody that listened to it. Preacher Rick Warren, I can’t thank you enough for all the sermons you’ve preached! They have helped me more than you realize or know! I miss you posting new sermons on utube. I’m sure I’m not the only one that misses you being on here. If you ever consider coming back from retirement & post more videos, PLEASE let us know here on utube. You are missed more than you know! Wish there was a way for you to personally read this but not sure how to do that. Hopefully the Good Lord above will make sure you see this yourself. My thoughts & prayers remain with you & your lovely wife. ❤❤❤

"do not make a decision based on the next 40 min that lasts for the next 40 years" Great qoute of the day . Short term pleasure over long term benefits.
  • Just wanted to encourage you all at Saddleback that you are touching many lives by posting these sermons online . . . thank you and I hope you'll continue sharing more of these sermons.
  • As a college student who has failed and been shaken up very recently, I hope whoever sees this (especially if you are a college student yourself or are going to be) knows that God loves us and will never turn his back on us. He makes all failures into recoveries and triumphs and he knows what is best for us and what to do in our lives. Follow God, follow his plan, and everything is going to be alright.

After an absence of 30 yrs I went back to my home country Australia and through a positive chain reaction, that started with my cousin, then a book by Christine Caine, God has helped me arrive to Rick Warren. I must say that I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to discover and listen to Rick's Sermons. I have always loved the Bible, but nobody has ever really explained it in this way, and I am here everyday listening and writing things down, and I would like to say Thankyou. Galatians 6 is a very beautiful passage and you are part of this and I hope that I can do my part too somewhere in someone's life.
