Age of Change: The company creating new products from chopsticks

Published 2022-08-02
In this episode of Age of Change, meet woodworker Felix Bӧck. Frustrated by the growing problem of consumer waste, Felix saw an opportunity in chopsticks. Most disposable chopsticks are discarded after just one meal and in Vancouver, 100,000 chopsticks are thrown away every single day. Felix’s network of global micro factories collect chopsticks from local restaurants and turn them into stylish products.

It is amazing. The whole idea is amazing.
  • I am glad that the story of ChopValue has been covered by WWF International. Their story has also been covered by Business Insider but I was not sure that what kind of resin or polishing they are using on their product and I was a bit skeptical that whether it's completely green product or not. But now that's completely clarified. And I am surely gonna follow Chopvalue and their products.
  • It makes me so happy seeing that people actually care 😊😊😊 Love to people who care of the environment❤️
