The #Electrictruck space continues to grow every year and #Ram is looking to change people's perception of EV's with a truck that perfectly bridges the gap between ICE and EV. The 2025 #Ram1500Ramcharger is essentially a #RamPHEV but with a 3.6L V6 that serves as a generator to recharge its 92 kWh battery pack, #Ram is promising up to 690 miles of range, making this the longest range electric truck on the market, when it goes on sale in early 2025.

This is the same powertrain technology that Locomotive train engines have been using for 80 years; it's about Effing time that the auto industry caught up! I will buy this truck!

Train Locomotives have been using a hybrid configuration for decades with a diesel generator powering the electric drive wheels. Makes sense to use it for autos/trucks.

another beautiful 8000lb loaded machine to transport 1 man to grocery store. Wonderful

I love you man. Great vids! So knowledgeable and articulate!
  • Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing this pickup here
  • The gas engine can be mounted on super soft mounts since it won’t be directly twisting the wheels. Expect it to be smooooth

Finally someone else who reviewed the 2025 Limited and not the Tungsten. You know there are other models then the Tungsten. Thank you!❤

This is a game changer, i hope this thing is reliable, i love how they used the tried and true 3.6l pentistar engine.

This is a perfect combo...Why in the name of whatever the truck makers didn't think about this configuration before? go figure

Loved the manner you reviewed the mockup, quick, factual, exact. Then kudos for doing the interior of the ICE version as similar overview. Clever and very informative. Much preferred over raiti man.

As someone with a ram classic with the hemi that hauls a slide in truck camper I am super excited fot this to come out. High payload, good towing capacity, and more power/better millage

This EV architecture is the one to get! Awesome range and the interior (especially the infotainment) is still the most luxury in this group

I'm actually intrigued by this powertrain combo. Freight trains are the exact same way. Will be watching closely to see how it performs and stands up over time

Hitting that lift gate from the back, Ramcharger style

So, it’s a Ramprius ! Ok I like it. Power. Range. Hybrid!
  • @Kevin-cf8uu
It's an interesting concept and probably makes a lot more sense when it comes to gasoline efficiency. It's basically a plug in hybrid but a new concept which is pretty cool.
