I think every woman thinks they'll look stupid with a shave head until they just do it and realize they look bad ass.

I shaved my head last night. I was so sick of having handfuls of hair fall out from medications I take to keep my disease in check. I freaking love it! I've never felt more liberated. My husband came in and just kissed my head. My kids helped shave the back. Thank you for being such a supportive ray of sunshine. My hair is on it's way to wigs for kids.

Frankly I never felt more feminine than when I shaved my head. It makes all your features pop, even without makeup. I loved it so much.

I feel like people are not thinking right If I shaved my head I would try so many things with my hair first Ex: burn my hair, give my self bangs, shave the side ,etc.

My hair is incredibly thick. It was like 2 inches below my shoulders. It's a pain in the ass to keep up so I dont over heat. I also am prone to migraines and had a car accident in 2015 that had major scarring. I always wanted to see my scars, but everyone told me to not shave my head. So a couple weeks ago, I went for it. I LOVE IT. It was emotional to see my scars. My headaches are so few now. I didnt use any clips on the buzzers, and buzzed it back down again today. I feel stronger and more powerful than I did before.

Now I need a girl with a not-perfect-sculpted-by-the-gods face with double chin and short neck to shave her head. Otherwise I can't feel related at all :`)

I just had my head shaved yesterday - I'm 74 with natural gray hair and I'm rockin' it. It is so liberating not to have to bother with hair, it's cool and comfy and I love it.

I shaved my head 5 years ago, it was liberating! I've always loved the feeling of a shorn scalp and was always petting my own head. It was also nice having hair that dried in 5 minutes vs. 3 hours. There's no need to be emotionally attached to your hair, it grows back!

Don't get me wrong, I completely agree with "it's what's on the inside that counts", however it's easier to say that when you are conventionally very attractive.

I kept thinking about shaving my head for months but was always a little scared. Then this video popped up, I saw how beautiful all these women looked after shaving their had and made the decision to do the same. Finished 20 minutes ago and I couldn't be happier <3

When I was about 16 I had this older friend who used to cut and dye her hair in all kind of different colors and shapes and one day she just shaved it all off. I remember asking her how she was able to do all these things without getting anxious about it. She said ¨Because I don't put my confidence in my hair. It's just hair after all, it doesn't define me as a person or if I'm beautiful or not ¨ I don't know what the purpose of writing this was actually, but I found what she said to be really inspiring for me, and I started to view my hair and myself in a different way after that.
