  • This is what I've learned about tattooing so far. Some people say do it this way, some people say do it that way. Each individual person is going to have a unique style. One may specialize in realism. One may specialize in traditional. One may be pretty decent at all styles. Some may prefer to "ride the tube" or "float the needle". Some may use less or more voltage. Some may use less or more needle depth. You do what is achievable and works for you and your style and set-up. Take into consideration other techniques and try them and see if it works for you. Practice what works for you and what doesn't. Stick to the basics: clean\sanitary work area, patience, straight and steady lines, good shading.
