The fact that no family ever reported her missing leads me to believe it was family that put her there.

I'm so glad she was identified in 2018. I was born and raised in Barbourville (Knox County) and moved away a few months before this happened. The people of the town are caring and I'm so proud that took care of this lady until her family could find her.

Sick world, sick people

I have family in Knox Co & never heard about this, crazy
-
I've lived close to there my whole life. My parents told me about this story
-
Unbelievable… along the busy corridor of I 75 and never thought to take a look? Or am I just crazy.

Not nameless...God knows her name...justice will be served...if not already served.❤️🙏
-
What a sweet community to lay this lady to rest in peace. 🙏❤

May she RIP. We all hope she will be identified through DNA after being exhumed. It is never too late to be identified so she can be returned to her family to be buried in the same place as her mother, father, siblings, (it has been established through death records that she bore a child). Any one of these family members might shed light on who she is, maybe even through dental records. Let’s try every possible avenue we have access to to connect her to someone who has long been looking for her and give her a name. Never give up!

Yep, it sad but if they do an exhumation and is able to get good DNA samples from her corpse, it might go long way to trace her relatives. They can even search the national DNA database for convicted criminals and might get a hit on a close relative. I know there is places that can trace your ancestry with great accuracy, and the fact that she is a redhead will really helps. The natural red hair color is always inherited from either the father or mother and is passed from one generation to another. 👍

🤔She was identified. Turns out she had a kid at 18, and she died when he was around 10 or 11 years old. Which leads me to question why he never reported his Mother missing. Also, he was murdered 2 months before she was identified.

Why don't they have a data bank with just unidentified peoples DNA? Especially now that we have that technology.

Seems like there may be a serial killer in those hills. From all the videos that are out there for unsolved killings that are 20-40 years ago.

Can't they use DNA/ Ancestry match?
