  • We'll have to wait Thomas, for a Full Review without camo, and without the VW boss friend affecting your normally un-biased opinion and reflections. By your own admission, the ID family is compromised by laggy and poor infotainment, capacitive BS steering wheel buttons (you never asked him about these) and climate controls, cost-cutting lightweight plastics in the interior compared to the rock solid plastics of a T5 - and how does the ride compare properly on rough roads with an Merc EQV which has proper soft comfortable suspension! Plus the original ID Buzz concept was fun-looking and unique - this one under the camo looks like a squared-off ID3. We'll have to see! Keep up the good work Thomas. Kind regards.

  • I love how TG does a 4minute video where it's like "£50k starting price". While Autogefuhl actually does a lengthy informative piece as usual. Hopefully what my dealer informed me of with 111kWh on a LWB Buzz Cargo will be correct as that's the one I'll be going for.

    I love this car so much, one of my favourite cars ever. Cannot wait to see it. Great to see something that really rethinks the car and makes the most of being all electric.

    We have pretty great charging infrastructure in Norway now. It's so easy to travel with a electroauto from south to north even with a Nissan Leaf 1. gen and even easy with a Mitsubishi i-MiEV also. So great is the charging infrastructure here.
  • As VW knew in 1950 and Chrysler and Lee Iacocca knew in 1983, there is no more practical vehicle shape for transporting people and cargo than the minivan, minibus. As battery tech improves and VW figures out how to make a user friendly infotainment system, the ID Buzz will improve. I would like one, but I will wait until 2026 when either the Buzz gets better or the competition makes a better minivan. I do commend VW to have the courage to offer this classic shape. Looking forward to the full reveal on March 9.

    I bought my VW T5 Transporter Kombi in 2014 for £27000.....i would love to own the Buzz but i fear the pricing is now way out of my range. The boss of Stelantis recently said that electric vehicles are so expensive the car industry risked pricing middle class buyers (his words not mine) out of the market. I think he's right and its a shame as im ready for electric and i really wanted the Buzz.

    Given adapting to modern crash safety standards I think VW has done a good job - although different to the classic VW bus which had Jay Leno to comment in one of his episodes: "You will be the first person on the scene of the accident".😃

    Wow, awesome Thomas, Love that Klaus was along for the ride and chat!! I am just finishing a timing chain and trans refresh on my '03 t-4, the newest available transporter in America!😭😭 So, definitely looking towards an id buzz, perhaps California please VW. Thanks again Thomas and crew for the excellent coverage, you rock!!!
