The West African nation of Ivory Coast has rolled out the world's second Malaria vaccine called the R21 shot, which is developed by the Serum Institute of India and England's Oxford University. The three-shot vaccine costs less than $4 per dose. The government of Ivory Coast aims to vaccinate around 250,000 children under the age of two. Malaria is a mosquito-borne disease that is the number one killer of children in the West African nation.
