icing on the cake is, the prosthetic and makeup team (60 people) aren't even included in the credits. they didn't credit 60 makeup artists on their FANTASY movie. that's so shitty.

I don't know why it'd never hit me until just now, but... why are Elves so obsessed with bringing back the Dark Lord, anyway? They're already the richest, most privileged race in the world, and they managed to avoid any bad consequences from the war by putting all the blame on the Orcs. They have it great. Do they really need to go to that length?

Did anyone else find it really odd that Will Smith killed a fairy at the beginning and joked about it we're supposed to relate to him for the rest of the film?

Will Smith just dropped the S-word in the middle of a bunch of orcs
  • What made me mad is that they show us a FUCKING DRAGON, half way through the movie, flying over the city. Then we never see it again. Then why show us the dragon. Are they just adding more elements to try to make the movie better, because it is just angering me even more.

Bright is what happens when a DM tries to put a twist on their first ever D&D campaign to make it more "interesting"
  • The whole movie is like a rough draft of writing a racism alagory in a private high school lit class, but the author left Bad Boys on in the background while doing his homework

"I want this to be my Star Wars". Wow, funniest line in the whole video

A plot summary of the OG script leaked and it makes so much more sense. Example: Elf lady doesn't talk because she was a child in the OG story. Possibly changed because David A wanted to add a gunfight in a strip club.
  • I think the most charming thing about this movie is that it was indeed Landis’ Star Wars. It just happened to be The Phantom Menace.

Wouldn't Shrek be considered a racist film in this universe.
  • @evanrayswenson
Lord of the Rings is probably a history/biography in Bright. Also Shrek is probably the equivalent to the N-Word in this universe.

my biggest issue with this movie is that there's magic but somehow everything is exactly the same science/medicine/technology wise. how tf is that possible ?

Remember that the old drunk homeless wizard man knew that Will Smith was “blessed”, this proves that people are able to find brights without giving random people the wand.
  • @Rucker1980
i loved the premise of it, but it looked like they spent their entire budget on Will Smith

Wait a minute. If Bright has Shrek....Shrek means DreamWorks, which means SHARK TALE
