  • Kush wide leveled up my riding on the XR stoked to get my hands on one for the GT too! Thanks for the info Kyle!

If you love your Kush wide, you have to try the front Kush Wide mod as well! Throw it on WTFs and you're locked in!
  • Such an awesome review and edit guys! Kyle and the carve crew killed it! 👏 👏 Keep up the great work
  • @PapaPump
I 2nd that ignite foam grip tape!! Regardless what pad you go with, ignite foam is the grip you need! Would like to get in on the next round of TFL Kush Wide's, I'm currently rocking the FM high kick. Great vid, thanks for the review! :elbowcough:

I’m rocking the GT Kush pad and it’s fantastic! Great video Kyle.. Cheers amigo! 🤘🏻
  • Killed it, Kyle, with the talk track and the video content throughout! 3 things for me: 1. Psyched that I picked up the TFL Kush Wide for my GT. Not only for all the reasons you mentioned, but also because replacing the front footpad grip tape with the matching TFL tape seems to have alleviated my false start and engagement issues. 2. Everyone is talking about the Ignite foam grip tape. Sounds like even with the Kush Wide that it is worth the add. So the only thing I'm waiting for is their custom grip tape printer to come back online. Hopefully soon. Then, I'm ordering immediately. 3. You might have to update this when the GT AirPad comes out from C&R. That's the other footpad I have my eye on because it seems like the Kush but with some additional features like the metal reinforcement and debris blocker.

Interested to see how the GT Kush compares to the GT Airpad. It looks like the Airpad will be softer and more cushioned, but the Kush looks like the best all-around every situation pad.
  • Thanks for the advice.... pretty sure I'm set on kush wide now

cant decide on a footpad. i literally just put my 4mm ignite foams on stock pads. also riding the enduro and mustache rails. 60 miles between street and trail today. first big ride with the new setup. there is a noticeable difference. mostly in the right direction; but not perfect. tire was the biggest improvement. hopefully custom shaping or a firmware update improve the riding. i still like my XR better and it has all the same upgrades besides a modded battery. money pit for extended batter stoke.
  • With the hex foam from 1wheelparts for sureeeee
  • I really liked the Platys on the XR/Plus. I would like to try them out on the GT sometime. If the Kush Wide had a front sensor option I would get it in a heartbeat. Maybe I could try doing one myself with one of the 3 front sensors FM sent me.
  • Just some advice here too, providing foot size and weight would help us consumers make the decision easier. If that info is too personal I get it but it would totally help us understand what product is best for sizing reasons
  • I just got a Kush Wide pad the other day when it was available for all of 15 minutes before geing sold out again. I intended on getting the 4mm ignite foam pad for the stock GT front foodpad but now that I know they make it for the Kush Wide too, Im thinking about that that as well!
  • @187kenny
Are you going to try the C&R Air Pad for the GT? Good video!!!
  • @chrisc790
How can I get my hands on some of those sweet carve stickers??
  • The problem with the Kush wide is it lifts your foot up pretty high from center to trail kick. Since the GT already has a high center of gravity I don’t want to add anything that lifts my feet even higher. That creates more top heavy rollover when leaning in on turns on trail, especially toe-side.
  • I have the craft & ride onetail flat pad for my GT. Its made from wood, which I prefer, and flat like the stock XR pad. Been using it since August and never looked back. I ride mainly trails and been riding for 4 years. Not a fan of concave pads.
