Anxiety wants to keep us awake, but sleep is sooooooo important. In the west, people pride themselves on going without sleep to get work done, but it causes sever health issues. What's helped me a lot has been cutting out coffee (I was very sensitive to caffeine), getting out in nature more, exercising more frequently, and mindfulness meditation (I use a book called 30 Days to Reduce Stress by Harper Daniels, it has short and simple mindfulness exercises that relax me). It's so important to keep a calm frame of mind before bed. Sleep well everyone :) May your dreams be rejuvenating and healing.

I enjoyed this podcast I have gotten in tuned with my mind by just doing breathing exercises and meditation before starting my day. I never in a million years would think I would be enjoying life now even by journaling. It’s time to really fine tune better living. Thank you

My morning routine is to listen to a podcast episode of yours or a few others while I do my morning stretch, then I use the calm app right after to do the daily calm. After I’m done I listen to the rest of the episode while I get ready for my day. It’s so amazing to hear the whole story on the calm app.

I've been teaching meditation and mindfulness all over the world for the past 11 years now, and what this gentleman says is bang on. Meditation isn't about religion or perfection. It's about connecting with our True Self in the here and now so that we can open our hearts and minds to our reality and the amazing beauty of experiencing life from moment to moment 😍

I find these podcasts lately are not inciteful for people. I was excited to listen to this podcast as I thought it would be more about mediation and how it would help people. Instead, it's about how this man is growing his company and promoting it. The last few podcasts have felt to me along the same line. Disappointing to say the least. Perhaps I need a break from Jay's podcasts promoting his friend's on their latest business endeavors.

Been meditating daily for last 4 years. sometimes things around is so distracting that it completely takes over the mind every minutes of the day. Its difficult not to get distracted. I can't imagine what it is like for many who dont meditate at all.
