I'm honestly surprised Blanca is still friends with him after this. I understand he was drunk, but there are certain lines you shouldn't cross and certain things you shouldn't say. Calling her an "HIV charity case", telling her she has half the brain cells, and telling her she only wants children out of loneliness? Really? And this isn't the first time he's lost his temper on her and said hurtful things like this.

This hits too close to home, I've been Blanca. When the person you love the most is in denial about being an addict and you try to intervene - they deflect and go at you the hardest. The person closest to you knows your weaknesses and insecurities so they know how to cut you the deepest.
