Gotta laugh at the hand-drawn album covers that look like they were done by a high school freshman sitting the back of the room in algebra class drawing monsters and fantasy themed stuff in their notebook.

Half of these album covers are great and original. I prefer an interesting an unique cover than the Thrash ones that look exactly the same.

To be fair to Metal Church, the album art work was chosen by the record company. The band hated it and it was one of the reasons why Mike Howe left the band.

The "Dance of Death" album cover...well, Iron Maiden themselves are to blame for that one! The artist showed it to them in a rough unfinished state, saying "Is this the sort of thing? I'll tidy it up and finish it off", but the band, who wanted the album released, said "That'll Do!" so that's how it was released.

The cover for The Court Of The Crimson King by King Crimson is an amazing cover especially when u open it up and see the picture in the middle. Amazing music as well.
