It doesn't matter what a guy says or does. Don't lose your head and get all in a tizzy because a guy is showering you with affection and nice words. Just give it time. You'll see whether or not he's playing you. Men who are love bombing can't keep it up too long. Men who are serious will be ok with taking time and letting you get to the point where you feel comfortable to fully open up and be vulnerable. They won't pressure you.

Dude told me “ I love you” within 10 days, told me to have patience to give him time to spoil me. Yet wanted intimacy DAILY, 7 days a week even when I get off work tired. I completely agree with this. One of my aunts recently met a man who told her he was in the process of a divorce. He was always staying with her at her house and using her cars. He was always begging her to be his girlfriend. My aunt always turned him down because her husband died after a bad case of covid, and it hadn't even been a year since she buried him. All of the women of the family were trying to tell her to get rid of him because he was coming on so strong, so fast. She later revealed to us that he is an illegal alien, and his American "wife" was his only security here. He wasn't actually married to the woman, he had just been saying it, and he needed a place to live/hide while trying to get papers. Finally, all of the "free" contract work he was doing on her house made sense. He was doing everything he could to always be at her house. In the beginning I actually thought he was a nice guy.

I waisted 2 years on a love bombing demonic narcissist. My intuition kept telling me no at first and I didn't listen. Now I have a baby with him and he is gone. I intend to keep it that way because he was emotionally, mentally and financially abusive. After a while he tried to introduce physical abuse to me and my daughter when he threw a shoe at her for her to leave something alone. I knew I had to get away from that joker permanently, and thank god he never signed the birth certificate. He wanted our daughter to be feral and not speak to others and claimed he didn't want her to go to daycare or school. He was absolutely insane. Now I need therapy for a while cause I trust no men around my daughter.

This was a great episode and informative. I have been loved bomb by a narcissist, a true demonic narcissist. It has been to worse thing to be apart of someone evil plan to be teardown, ripped apart, and lose who you are all because you're a loving, caring person.

The distinction between real connection and love bombing is pretty clear imo. There's not much scope to misinterpret when you're a self aware individual. Love bombing is super fast and the level of attention, affection is disproportionate to the stage of relationship, for eg when not enough time has elapsed to guage words and actions align. The future fakers, selling you a dream types. (The slower u go the faster u get there ladies!) Insecure men seeking approval or validation may seek to win a woman over only to discard her once she starts reciprocating interest. Some players play the long game too, so it's about being smart and staying attuned to your feelings and intuition as a woman. If it feels off it usually is off. True connection can't be forced or faked.
