A two hundred million dollar budget, three of the biggest stars in the world and a fun heist script makes for one very special movie - AKA Netflix’s Red Notice. The latest from Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s production company is the biggest investment Netflix has ever made which is no surprise considering it stars The Rock, Ryan Reynolds AND Gal Gadot. The process wasn’t all smooth though - the production was interrupted by the pandemic and left everyone unsure of what would come next, but they managed to make it happen - and with the most intense Covid-19 protocols in Hollywood. It doesn’t come as a surprise since Dwayne Johnson and his whole family dealt with Covid.
Behind the scenes of making this movie were tons of laughs, improv and witty one-liners, each actor giving it their all and often trying to make their co-stars crack up. The fun almost got out of control - it was such a playful set that Netflix literally sent people to police the production, making sure that while everyone was enjoying themselves they stayed on track and made the movie magic happen!
One of the more awkward moments when filming involved an issue between the very buff Dwayne Johnson and a tiny, expensive Porsche. Let’s just say there was a lot of oil involved - and not the way you might think! Gal Gadot faced her own struggles with a fear of her toes being crushed filming a particular sequence.
It certainly wasn’t easy and completing this movie was a major feat - thank goodness the team stuck with it and brought this fun heist to life!

    Netflix needs to make another action movie with Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds as staring as (Elliott Salem) as Ryan Reynolds and (Tyson Rios) as Dwayne Johnson in video game action of ARMY OF TWO. If Netflix made that into a action movie, with those two main stars, then that would be a AWSOME! roller-coaster ride of a movie. Please Netflix make it happen. 😊👍

    My choice for Best scene in Red Notice? The prison food scene between Deadpool and Black Adam... that was hilarious!! "Nyet politsiya. Not a cop. This man is not a cop, all right? Get that through your thick skulls right now! He's a profiler for the FBI... " ha HA HA HA.. Laugh so much....

    Great movie! Needs sequels for sure! Also her last name is pronounced 'gah-dote" not "gah-doe' like in French. T isn't silent. Gadot means river bank, while Gal means wave in Israeli.
