Thanks - I'm ordering the same rifle (and I'm in NJ too). Sucks because we're down to 10 round mags now and the pinned stock has always been ridiculous. For those of you in a free state, check out this logic: if the stock is pinned in the shortest position, it's legal and if it's pinned in the longest position, it's legal, or pinned anywhere in between (legal). But being able to adjust it = assault weapon. Crazy right? It's like trying to address drunk driving by banning cars with seats that adjust for different drivers. God, I hate the politicians in this state. /RANT

Nice gun for your first AR

Looking at trading in my pre y2k model colt for a updated version .

The lighting really dosent do the gun justice. Its actually a darker brown. I love it though. I fire this gun at the range every time I go. Will be my first AR as well. Saving up for it though. Price tag scares the shit out of me but i like it that much

Any idea the screw size or type that is inside the regularly installed fore grip? I need it to be way closer than as installed out of the box. Looks like. A special type of screw

What do you think about the Daniel defense furniture? Do you leave the stock and grip or do you upgrade them ? Thank you!

Any idea what screw head type the screws are on the grip? They put it so far up near the barrel out of the box

How are you liking the grip? Also, I got the m4a1 riii and the stock spring makes clicky noises when moving the rifle. the stock is fine but that noise is annoying. is that normal?
