  • I was fortunate enough to have the privilege of working with Chef Eric Ripert for several years. He is much more than a chef or mentor. This is a lifestyle. He taught me way more about life than food.

This is a man who is at peace with himself and knows what is important in life. Yes, he is the chef of a world-famous restaurant, but he sees the world as a whole and does his part to make this world better.

Great video. Every time I see or hear about Eric Ripert, I can't help but think of Anthony Bourdain and their friendship.

I loved when Eric would appear on Anthony Bourdains shows. They were close friends in real life. Eric has a really nice way about himself and he’s easy to like.

He strikes me as a guy I would love to have at my dinner table. He seems so genuine, and charitable.

Being the best at preparing food means respecting and loving food. Ripert is one of those chefs, like Escoffier before him and Keller nowadays. He is a master.
