- I evaluate a victim’s response to a life-threatening situation based on a rating system I've coined as "Nails in the Coffin." When someone is confronted with a dire circumstance, their actions and decisions determine the number of "Nails" they receive. If they exhibit tremendous resilience and make judicious choices, they can earn a commendable Four Nails in the Coffin. However, if they make inexplicable blunders or engage in imprudent actions, such as freezing in place or opting to run upstairs instead of seeking safety outside, I find it appropriate to assign just One Nail in the Coffin.
